How litter dropped anywhere turns into a monster that frightens us all.

I'm Alina Diaconu, and I write for children who still believe that if you open a book slowly, the story settles itself onto your lap.

About
My ten books were born where the morning light meets a child's question — and try to answer it gently. About feelings that haven't found their names yet. About courage, which more often than not is small and quiet. About this planet we're leaving to four-year-olds.
I don't write books that teach. I write books that embrace. Books parents read aloud at night, books that stay in a family's memory long after the last page has closed. Books for children aged 3 to 7 — and for their parents.
„There is a place where stories bloom slowly, between a cup of tea and a fogged-up window.”
