The Deer
Romanian title: Căprioara
About the courage to defend nature, and the power of a kind heart.
One autumn day, David takes a new path through the forest with his dog Terra. There he comes upon a hunter aiming at a wounded, frightened doe.
Without a second thought, David rushes to her aid and asks the hunter to look at her differently: the doe is still breathing, she can still be saved. Moved, the hunter lowers his weapon, bandages her leg and asks for forgiveness.
And David understands that his true strength is kindness. The final adventure in the „Adventures to Save the Planet” collection, illustrated by Daniela Rusen.
Alina Diaconu’s imaginative tales contain vitally important themes that we all need to be aware of and will hopefully inspire children to take a more active and involved role in the future of our planet.
