Adventures Saving the Planet
Ghizuroi, monstrul de gunoi
About what happens to the things we throw away.
Once there was a sweet wrapper that fell into the grass. No one picked it up. Then came another. And another. And little by little, from all of these, Ghizuroi took shape — a soft, sticky monster that grew in every spot where someone forgot to throw something in the bin.
Ghizuroi means no one any harm. He simply has nowhere to go. His places are the places we miss — the corner behind the bench, the river's edge, the patch of grass beside the school. The more we ignore him, the bigger he grows.
This book shows the child that a single small gesture — a wrapper placed in the bin, a bottle recycled — makes Ghizuroi melt a little. Not through a lesson. Through a story.
Monsters aren't born — we grow them, out of what we'd rather not see.
